NMEA Magic

The GMTS installer tool for testing and fault-finding NMEA 0183, NMEA 2000 and AIS: decode, route and diagnose on the bench or during an install.

When to use it

  • Setting up new sensors and gateways
  • Decoding sentences in detail, with an AIS map and electrical and sensor panels
  • Virtual COM ports and routing to several destinations during setup
  • Forwarding data into VesselNow over TCP or UDP while testing

For installs only. After handover, use VesselNow Hub and Device Bridge so data feeds start automatically with the boat's system.

On a finished install

On a finished install, VesselNow Hub and Device Bridge handle NMEA and USB-to-network forwarding. NMEA Magic is for installers only.
